Delete Your LynkTro Account
Instructions for requesting deletion of your LynkTro account and associated data, including retention periods and data that may be kept for legal, safety, payment, or dispute reasons.

LynkTro is operated by LYNKTRO TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED, a private company limited by shares incorporated in Nigeria. LynkTro Technologies Limited is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any other entity using the LynkTro name outside Nigeria.
1. Request deletion in the app
LynkTro is operated by LYNKTRO TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED. To request deletion of your account in the LynkTro Android app, sign in and go to:
- Open LynkTro.
- Go to your profile or settings area.
- Open Account Manager.
- Select Delete Account under Account Controls.
- Review the warning, type DELETE, and submit the request.
If you cannot access the app, email [email protected] from the email address connected to your LynkTro account and include "Account deletion request" in the subject.
2. What happens after you request deletion
- Your account is disabled and active app sessions are signed out.
- You will not be able to log back in while the deletion request is active.
- Your profile and account visibility are restricted or hidden where supported by LynkTro.
- We send a confirmation email to the email address on your account.
- Permanent deletion is scheduled after a 180-day retention period.
3. Data deleted or retained
After the retention period, we work to delete or anonymize account data that is no longer needed to operate LynkTro or meet our obligations. This can include profile information, social account data, content, media, comments, community participation, and device/session data.
Some records may be kept for longer where required for safety, fraud prevention, security, payment and wallet records, orders, withdrawals, disputes, tax, accounting, legal compliance, audit logs, or to enforce our terms and community rules.
4. Undoing a deletion request
You may ask us to review and undo an account deletion request before permanent deletion is finalized. Contact [email protected] from the email address connected to your account. We may need to verify your identity before restoring access.
5. Delete some data without deleting your account
LynkTro also lets you request deletion of selected data without deleting your account. In the app, go to Account Manager and choose Request Data Deletion under Account Controls. You can also email [email protected] with details of the data you want reviewed.
