Seller Terms and Conditions

Rules for shops, business sellers, product listings, orders, payments, fulfillment, and marketplace disputes on LynkTro.

Version 1.0.0 · Effective: October 19, 2026 · Last updated: October 19, 2026
Operated by LYNKTRO TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED (LynkTro), incorporated in Nigeria.

LynkTro is operated by LYNKTRO TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED, a private company limited by shares incorporated in Nigeria. LynkTro Technologies Limited is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any other entity using the LynkTro name outside Nigeria.

1. Agreement and relationship with the Terms of Service

These Seller Terms and Conditions ("Seller Terms") apply when you create, manage, or use a shop or offer products for sale through LynkTro. They form part of the agreement between you and LYNKTRO TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED. They supplement the Terms of Service, which continue to apply to your entire LynkTro account. If a marketplace-specific Seller Term conflicts with the general Terms on a seller transaction, these Seller Terms govern that subject; mandatory law and applicable consumer rights prevail. These terms govern your relationship with LynkTro and do not replace any contract or statutory duties between you and a buyer.

2. Seller eligibility and launch region

LynkTro is available to individuals aged 16 and older. You must be at least 18 years old to operate a business, list or sell products, or receive seller payments or payouts. You must have legal capacity and authority to act for yourself or the business you represent. LynkTro's initial physical-product marketplace operates in Nigeria; a listing or transaction may not be offered outside a location that the platform supports. Do not accept an order you cannot lawfully fulfill.

3. Shop and business verification

Before selling, you must complete the shop setup and any business verification LynkTro requires for your account, business type, or product category. Provide accurate information and authentic documents through the designated private in-app submission process. LynkTro may request further information, review or reject a submission, limit selling features while review is pending, or require a valid dispatch origin before checkout delivery quotes can be offered. Verification is not an endorsement, guarantee of a seller's identity or product, or substitute for your own legal checks.

4. Account security and seller responsibility

Keep your login credentials, verification codes, devices, and business access secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for limiting access to authorized staff. Notify LynkTro promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not ask a buyer to share their password, login OTP, payment credentials, or security code. A verification code is not proof of delivery unless the live order flow explicitly identifies it for that purpose.

5. Listings, accuracy, price, and availability

Every listing must describe the actual item accurately, including its condition, material, size, included parts, relevant safety information, variations, stock, price, and any applicable legal restrictions. Use genuine product images you have rights to use and do not materially alter them to mislead. Keep prices and inventory current, honor the price displayed when an order is accepted, and do not list unavailable, counterfeit, stolen, misrepresented, or unlawfully sourced products. Do not use a listing to divert a buyer off-platform or collect payment outside the supported checkout.

6. Prohibited and restricted products

You must not list products prohibited by law, LynkTro's policies, payment partners, or the marketplace category controls. This includes counterfeit or stolen goods, illegal drugs, products that facilitate violence or abuse, exploitative material, recalled or materially unsafe goods, and goods you have no right to sell. Regulated products may be listed only where the platform expressly permits them and you hold every required licence, approval, and disclosure. LynkTro may block or remove a listing or category to comply with law, protect users, or manage platform risk. A product appearing in a category does not mean it is approved for every seller or location.

7. Order acceptance, cancellation, and fulfillment

Respond to each order within the acceptance period shown in the seller workspace. The current backend default is 24 hours; an order not accepted in time may be cancelled under the platform workflow. After acceptance, prepare and mark the parcel ready within the deadline shown for that order; the current default preparation window is 48 hours. Platform rules and the order-specific timer control if they differ. Keep stock available, pack the exact items ordered, complete required packing checks, and provide any requested evidence. Do not mark an order delivered or complete outside the order workflow. Cancellations, including missed deadlines or unavailable stock, may result in reversal or refund of the buyer's payment and other account action.

8. Commission, fees, deductions, and payment records

Seller commission is set by category and, where configured, subcategory. The current rate and estimated proceeds are displayed in the product listing flow; the applicable rate and amount are recorded on the order before checkout and shown in seller order details. There is no single universal commission rate stated in these terms because the schedule is managed in the LynkTro catalogue and may differ by category. Review the displayed rate before publishing a listing. LynkTro may change rates prospectively by updating the schedule and displaying the new rate before it applies to new orders. Order-specific deductions are based on the recorded order breakdown. Buyer delivery charges and checkout processing fees are calculated and displayed during checkout; do not add undisclosed charges or collect off-platform fees.

9. Funds, payment holds, settlement, and withdrawals

Buyer payments are processed through LynkTro's configured payment flow. Seller proceeds are recorded after applicable commission and order adjustments. Proceeds may remain unavailable for withdrawal while delivery, a buyer response period, a dispute, a return, a refund, a chargeback, reconciliation, or a legal or fraud review is pending. A dispute blocks payout while it is open. LynkTro does not promise a fixed settlement or withdrawal time. Withdrawal requests are subject to account and bank checks, limits, available balance, and manual review and approval; automatic transfers are not currently enabled. A requested withdrawal is not a guarantee of payment by a particular date. LynkTro may correct ledger errors or apply lawful amounts owed against a seller balance, with transaction details available through the relevant order or account records.

10. Delivery, shipping, and confirmation

Physical-product sales are currently supported in Nigeria. Keep a valid private pickup or dispatch origin and current seller contact details. The buyer sees available delivery options and charges before payment. After you mark the parcel ready, LynkTro's logistics workflow arranges the selected courier collection or permitted drop-off; sellers do not book a different courier or change the agreed service through the seller workspace. Pack items securely, meet the displayed handoff instructions, and cooperate with tracking and evidence requests. Courier events establish custody and delivery status; sellers cannot manually mark courier delivery complete. Verified delivery starts a 24-hour buyer confirmation or dispute response window under the current workflow. Do not promise a delivery date beyond the carrier estimate or alter a paid order's delivery terms without platform authorization.

11. Buyer protection and disputes

Buyers may report non-delivery, damage, missing or incorrect items, or other order problems through the order workflow or support. Cooperate promptly, provide accurate records and requested evidence, and preserve relevant packaging and transaction information. LynkTro may review the order, carrier events, communications, listing, and evidence, and may ask either party for further information. Open disputes block seller payout. LynkTro may decide platform workflow outcomes such as whether a refund or return process can proceed, subject to applicable law; LynkTro does not guarantee an outcome or replace a court, regulator, payment-provider process, or a buyer's statutory rights.

12. Refunds, returns, cancellations, and chargebacks

A refund, return, or cancellation may be available when required by law or under the applicable order workflow. Do not promise a return rule that conflicts with mandatory consumer rights or the order terms shown to the buyer. Where a return is authorized, follow the platform's return shipment and inspection instructions; a returned parcel and required receipt evidence may be needed before a refund is approved. LynkTro does not authorize sellers to choose or submit refund amounts outside the platform workflow. Refunds are processed through the applicable payment route and provider timing may vary. Respond to chargeback or payment-provider evidence requests by their stated deadlines. Reversed orders, refunds, chargebacks, and justified adjustments may reduce seller proceeds or be recovered from the seller balance to the extent permitted by law.

13. Fraud prevention and prohibited conduct

Do not manipulate orders, reviews, ratings, prices, inventory, or disputes; submit false verification; misrepresent delivery; collude with buyers; use stolen payment or identity information; evade fees; solicit off-platform payment; or retaliate against a person who reports a safety or order concern. Do not interfere with courier tracking or platform evidence. LynkTro may hold affected transactions and investigate suspected fraud.

14. Taxes and seller regulatory obligations

You are responsible for determining and meeting your tax, registration, licensing, product safety, labelling, consumer protection, import/export, recordkeeping, and other obligations as a seller in each relevant location. This includes applicable Nigerian federal and state requirements for transactions conducted in Nigeria. Obtain professional advice where needed. LynkTro does not provide tax or legal advice and does not assume your obligations by hosting a listing or processing a payment.

15. Intellectual property and product media

You retain rights you own in your listings and product media. You grant LynkTro a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence for the term your content is available on the platform to host, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and promote it as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and market LynkTro and the listing. You confirm you have the rights and permissions needed for this licence and that the content does not violate another person's rights. Remove or replace content when you no longer have those rights. Intellectual property complaints are handled under the Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy.

16. Listing removal and seller restrictions

LynkTro may reject, limit, pause, or remove a listing; pause checkout or payouts; require verification; or restrict, suspend, or terminate seller tools or an account where reasonably necessary for policy enforcement, safety, suspected fraud, verification, payment reconciliation, a dispute, legal compliance, or platform operations. Where appropriate and lawful, LynkTro may explain the action and provide a way to contact support or request review. Account action does not remove duties to complete, resolve, or document existing orders, or legally required record-retention obligations.

17. Liability and indemnity

You are responsible for your products, listings, business conduct, and performance of orders. To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify LYNKTRO TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED for third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Seller Terms, unlawful conduct, infringing content, or products, except to the extent caused by LynkTro's own breach, negligence, or wilful misconduct. Nothing in these Seller Terms excludes or limits liability or a consumer or seller right where applicable law does not permit that exclusion or limitation. Subject to that rule, LynkTro is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of marketplace features.

18. Changes to these Seller Terms

We may revise these Seller Terms to reflect legal requirements, operational changes, or new marketplace features. We will update the version and effective date shown above. For material changes, we will provide notice through the platform or another reasonable channel where required by law. Changes apply prospectively from their stated effective date unless applicable law permits otherwise. If you do not accept a material change, stop using seller features and contact support about open orders or balances.

19. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Seller Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to any mandatory law that applies to you or a transaction. Before starting formal proceedings, contact LynkTro so the issue can be reviewed. Any court proceedings will be brought before a competent court in Nigeria unless mandatory law gives a party the right to proceed elsewhere. Nothing here removes a right to use an applicable regulator, payment provider, or statutory dispute process.
