Create and publish posts or videos
Prepare your media, add a caption, review your post settings, and publish from web or Android.
Before you start
- Sign in and complete your profile setup.
- Have permission to share the content and review the Community Guidelines.
Step by step
Choose Create a post on the web, or open the post composer in the Android app.
Select your photos or video and add a caption. Allow file or media access if your device asks.
Review the available audience and interaction settings before publishing.
If you are posting into a community, confirm the destination and follow its rules.
Publish and wait for upload or processing to complete. Check your profile or Creator Center for the result.
Good to know
- Editing controls can differ between web and Android. Use the options shown in your composer.
- Avoid submitting the same upload repeatedly while it is processing. If it fails, check the connection and the error before retrying.
